Cheers! Anyone have a strong opinion on the mileage inconsistency? I haven't seen that before. It shows 42,279 on 6/11/18 and then 3,306 on 11/14/18. The seller has it listed with 114k now. I'm thinking someone missed the leading 4 on the 11/14 read out.

While you may be right, if I were you I’d just play it safe and pass on this one and go for the GT2 Huckbucket posted.

I was glad to find out from a radio ad I heard on a sports talk station that “Maseratis are extremely affordable.”

I guess they are the ones.

I'm not much into their other models stylingwise but the MC20 is a nice piece of ass.

At 10mpg, that means you're filling up gas a $10/gallon to achieve $1/mile. Impressive.

Math dude. Difference in cost is over the entire time of ownership, not one year.

Looks like I'm getting a new truck.

    Cool calculator here : https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/savemoney.jsp
Ford f150 gets 25 mpg. Wsy better than the tundra unless you're getting the hybrid...

If hybrid gets 30 mpg and it will save you 2000-3000 a year.

If you keep the vehicle 10 years it might break even.

Okay, if you're getting into the weeds with MPG and trucks, you're not going to get near those MPG numbers when you're hauling or towing. So if you're using your truck as a commuter car you'd be in better position getting a real commuter car and renting the truck for once or twice a year that you actually use it for truck stuff.

Whenever people start slicing and dicing MPG numbers for trucks it just tells me they shouldn't be getting a truck.

Over 345k I have averaged close to the states average mpg for a Tundra. This is with always carrying all my tools, ladders, shovels, etc.. Lots of mountain driving, towing, etc.

    Gas mileage matters

LOL if you're driving grades and hauling/towing you're not getting EPA estimated MPG.

If you're actually using your truck for truck stuff, that's great and you're one of the 10 percent of people who actually do, but please don't confuse your truck with a commuter car.

Computer says lifetime average 13.7 mpg. And yes, I use it like a truck.

Anyway, thanks for the tip on the F150. Never thought I'd go away from toyota, but the hybrid getting 25/26 and has all the options I want for the same price as the Tundra I was about to order. Looks like I might just go with the Ford.

Edit. Except Ford isn't taking orders for hybrids because they have too much of a backlog.

Worst time to need a new truck.
