Porsche topped Consumer Reports reliability list last year or the year before, a quick Google shows that they are just outside the top 10 now and still above industry average.

How can Ram, Dodge and Jeep score so high but Chrysler is at the bottom? Is the minivan so bad that it drags them all the way down?

There are what I consider a lot of good vehicles that fall below the IA, and a lot of what I consider shit vehicles that stand above the IA. To some, it is more about ride and fell than # or cost of repair. Having said that, while I love the drive and feel of a German vehicle, an extended warranty is a necessity and the frequency of service is absolutely a nuisance.

Bobby's used car lot and Free Carfax

How much of those rankings are stupid shit or people who can’t figure out the electronics? “Problems” runs the gamut, and without more qualification I’ve always been suspicious of that particular ranking. Particularly on a 2-3 year old vehicle or a vehicle that’s more than a year or two into its run/redesign. Am I wrong? (Undoubtedly)

That makes up a huge part of it. When the Ford Sync came out, no one knew how to use it and their rating plummeted.

Its strange that Fiat/Chrysler holds the top and bottom positions.

JD Power is hardly a beacon of impartiality. RAM/Dodge? I smell bullshit.

Bobby, por favor, can you grab the Carfax on this POS for me? Long story, but might fill a need if the price is right. W04GP5EC6B1120189

I nearly bought that element on BaT last week, now feeling both disappointed and glad I didn’t throw 18k at a car with a rebuilt title.

I'm working off a shitty photo of the tile. When i was looking it up in KBB, it found W04GP5EC6B1120189 and not the version with an F. so I guess W04GP5EC6B1120189 is the one.

I've been casually window shopping for a RAV4 prime for a few months now (I'm not going to buy a car until all of these supply chain issues are worked out), and while exorbitant, that doesn't seem totally out of line. The few that I have found locally are $10-20k over MSRP.

Umm. What the fuck are you smoking that $96,000 for a RAV4 isn’t too far out of line? And can I have some?

I mean sure it's out of line, but if they're asking that much that's because someone is willing to pay that much. With how few RAV4 primes there are on the market + how much demand there is for that car, it's unfortunately not surprising.

If you’ve got 100 grand to drop on a car you aren’t even looking at a RAV4 in the first place.

The real shitty part, is some poor Toyota salesman will sell that and make a 40 pounder and get paid a $300.00 flat.
