Dang gravity, glad y’all are ok.

And SJG, questioning a Volvo and favoring a Mopar product?

    Shake yourself.

I had a rental Challenger for a weekend last month, with a V8. It made great sounds. Other than that, its pretty disappointing as a modern car - Chrysler did a good job of being faithful to the old muscle car feel, in all the good and bad ways.

Did you try and buff it out?

Plan B is to keep the Forester for rare winter driving and snag a 70s or 80s muscle car as a work cruiser.

The C30 is the pinnacle of shitboxes. I'd gladly daily commute that.

I still miss our C30. Especially now that people figured out how to swap in the XC90 rear diff and make them AWD.

This was 10 months after a crazy Russian broadsided my C30 centered on the drivers B Pillar at about 20mph. This one I got fucked because it was the front end of my car with no skid marks so I didn't do all I could to avoid the accident and was deemed partially at fault. The insurance payment came out $5k less than I owed on the car. Try losing $65k worth of cars in 10 months...

To pile on the above: the C30 is a wicked fun hatch; the P1800 is beautiful and just about every Volvo from the s90/60 to v90/60 to xc90 is among the most handsome cars in their respective segments.

Also, assuming some here have women in their lives, they got Dunfree’s Twilight joke.

On topic, serious condolences gravity, that’s some shit.

Fucking comparative fault state too. Happy y’all are ok despite the massive car losses. Shit.

The Charger is a much better handling car than the Challenger. Pretty much the same size car but the B pillar in the Charger creates a more planted car. The SRT stuff is also way over built.

I've got a 2022 Audi R8 Performance getting traded in.

In hindsight it really was a nice car to be in. I don't think that, at the time, I could have gotten a better car for my needs for $28k.

Appreciate the R8 while we have it, that thing is such an amazing, capable supercar.
