For the 22k the guy wants, I'd probably go and buy a GX460.

Prior salvage. Bold move. Damage doesn't look that bad though.

I wonder if they opted for the dealer installed door edge guard for $199 if that could have been avoided?

So much for the clean title the guy says it has on California. He did say it there was something that happened in Washington. That looks like Washington.
How'd you find that and tie it back to the vin?
I'm gonna pass on this one.

Back when I was chasing e46s, it was my experience that every listing that had "minor damage" or "gently driven" meant that it was in at least one accident that required substantial bodywork and the prior owner(s) each hooned the ever loving shit out of it.

That floor pan area is munched pretty good. A Russian body man with a couple dollies, 2x4 and a hammer can massage that out in about 25 minutes, matching junk yard door and 4 Camel straights. " Just a parking lot scratch"

My last E46 was owned by a dope that owed more than the car was worth, and was going to trade it in on a brand new mazda 6 base model, and they would roll his debt into the new loan. I snagged that car for a deal, and it was all stock.

My previous E46 was owned by oldish people who couldn't turn down the low ball wad of cash, and asked me if I was a drug dealer. I like the way they drive.
