Bobby could find me one.
In fact, if he's listening, I would pay Bobby to find me one. A reasonable fee.
Is the premium for the factory paint going to be more than buying local good condition and repainting? I’ve never done that, but just pitching ideas.
Definitely have thought that just getting the car wrapped might be smarter but I have no data.
I’d say, related to my previous queries about a broker, that the car sites are more geared towards selling you something regardless of requested prerequisites.
Although used car peeps get a bad rap, I bet a well referred broker would be worthwhile at filtering bullshit at a particular dollar amount. I figure there’s a bell curve like $3k-$20k worthwhile. Above and below maybe not. And then up above $x who cares do whatever.
Seriously, bought my last 2 rigs, one off AT and one off Cars, Ram 2500 CTD for $7k less than any similarly equipped truck and a 4yo Q5 3.0t with 16k miles. Just kept looking daily until I found what I wanted, made deal, flew in to pick up and drive home = happy customer.

Iceman, you've been around here long enough to know Bobby only deals in exotica.
I hear Hertz is getting rid of cars.
If you're going for a rarer color you can't find on Carmax or other sites etc. then start calling the big Jeep dealers in nearby states and find out if they have leads on that color--in NJ, Warnock/Nielsen is HUuuge.

He also dabbles in grills and outdoor kitchen accessories, smoked meats, some Florida real estate, the occasional grow op, and Nashvegas bridesmaids tourism.
Really a one stop shop if you ask me. I’d hit em up no matter what I was in the market for.

Honestly Ice, best bet is to watch CarMax and carvana/vroom or just reach out to dealers.

I think it's just lack of inventory right now that is perplexing otziman. usually there would be a handful of any given choice and now when I look I get maybe 4 or 5 of the same ones that have been listed (usually the ugly color- red- sorry)
as others mentioned the used mkt is on fuego right now so I'm just waiting it out a bit
but on that note- BMills and Otziman- what yr are your allroads? that's what I'm still looking for and am looking for ~2016-2108 but see some 2014's and 15's out there and I like the dash set-up way better than the newer year versions. I think they switched the models in 2015 or 2016 and the touch screen looks like an after thought added to the top of the dash area vs 2015 and prior are more nicely integrated.
Anyone have any thoughts on the configuration?
I've only been able to test drive a 2014 bc that's all they've had here and I haven't been motivated enough to travel to SLC etc to try more out. I'd rather just buy online and have it delivered but have been getting hung up on that screen #firstworldproblems

It's just b8 vs b9 a4, as '15 was the generation switch. Most I've read prefer the b9.

Thanks
If the Carfax people collect info on data searches, they're gonna think Bobby is the #1 purveyor of Subaru shit boxes in the US thanks to this thread.
