You don't know her like I do. She's actually really sweet once you get to know her. I fell down the stairs. [Turns so they don't see bloody knuckles from a slipped wrench] [sheds tear through forced smile]

She’s not drinking oil anymore and really has been a new car after we rebuilt her transmission. She just needs some money for a fan clutch replacement. She doesn’t mean to get too hot. It’s not her fault. And after her new strut assemblies she feels almost like when we first met….
    focus.

a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

My guess. It's been stored in a climate controlled garage since having a full body off restoration in late 2014.

    Update:
Well...looks my my rig never made it onto the Grande Torino. I'm now told it's on the Grande California now. Which apparently is the RoRo version of a local train. Making stops in Halifax, NS and Kingstown RI before hitting the beautiful shores of NJ.

At least its out of the Med.

I'd be more nervous with more stops. Way more potential for something Italian to happen.

Yeah, I'm worried about the RI stop. That's a weird place, it used to be on Cops alot and they talk funny.

I've never been to Halifax, are the people there honest and not prone to tomfoolery?

Rhode Island is a confusing place. On one hand you've got stuff like the New York Yacht Club, a place so exclusive it's in another state, and then on the other hand you got the Tim Dumphys and Drugs Delaneys of the world.

    I love Rhode Island.

We knew a dude who worked as a delivery guy for a liquor distributor during the America's Cup years, holy shit that sounded like a good time.

12% of carvana employees laid off. At least they got a nice severance.

One of my sisters sailed collegiately for a school just across the RH border, and would occasionally get invited over to NYYC. Opulent to the point of excess, but classy, was one way she described it. I can only imagine their AC parties; doubly so if they actually managed to field a yacht for that contest.

Newport is just a nice blend of wealthy sailing types and good old fashioned New England drunks, and around 1am they all kinda look and sound the same.

But definitely plenty of opportunity for something Italian to happen to your car in RI.

Bobby's used car lot and Free Carfax

Also, knowing nothing about it, the Feadship Cetacea just sounds like something I couldn’t afford.

And found it here for $80k per week.
    Though maybe soon?

Wifey and I actually went to Newport for a wedding, her roommate from college - Darien CT blue blood families, reception was at one of those gigantic mansions on the water. I think she was the original bridezilla, fucking chick thought she was Jackie Kennedy. What a bunch of uptight fucks. Great town, though, we peeled off after the rehearsal dinner and reception and hit the bars, had a lot of fun. I'd love to go again.
