Everyone knows getting an auto deal has been difficult for the last 3 years. Just because one TGR dude says otherwise doesn't make it a fact.

    Move on

Prolly had something to do with dem fake ass tailpipes. Sales manager was like "PLEASE. I'll even throw in some warranty stuff. Now get that thing out of my sight!!!"

Just say "no" to fake exhaust tips.

The exhaust tips are there. They're just under the bumper and bent down, but not as bent as your valves.... so, yeah.

I'm pulling the trigger. Gonna go grab a car i drove yesterday and really enjoyed. 128i 6 speed manual. Responsive, quick, felt very nice. 10yo boy fit nicely in the back seat, so his little sister should be fine. Even room for a couple of hockey bags in the trunk.
Might have to enter a couple autox this spring/summer.
    sigless.

Man, the play was to scoop those 1 series (esp. the 135i) up when they came out a decade ago. What a fun car and really should keep value for you BB.

Nice!!! Now THAT'S a car worth buying. I've heard they're such a pure joy to drive. Looking forward to the TR.

Nice choice! I've eyed those on a number of occasions, just seem to be well balanced reasonably reliable for that era of bimmer.

Hot tip - go pull a 3 stage manifold from a junkyard and flash it with 130i tune - https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...BoCB1UQAvD_BwE

Should only be a few hundred bucks and it's a free 35-40 hp

    I’m not exactly shitting money

looking around at used trucks - there’s not a lot around

    shit a 07 Tacoma is $10k

I saw that mod. Looks like a damn good one. Bmw are like Legos. The 335i or m3 or 135i brakes all bolt right up for a bigger brake. Intake manifold, m3 control arms. Gonna be fun.

Tho, if he's complaining about the cost to swap in a used motor, not sure what sort of complete vehicle he's gonna find cheaper.

That was my thought; junkyard engine.

(btw, I can't read the word "motor" and not hear Clarkson's voice making fun of how Americans use that word)

I don’t NEED a truck at the moment as much as I used to but I do like a truck.

I often need to for camping and for hauling wood. With my new girlfriend I think I’ll be needing it more in the future for wood and stuff.

I am looking at wagons as well because I do need room for ski gear and camping gear and all that.

I know you’re not trying to be a jerk.

I’m not familiar with this euphemism?
