First listen done. Wow, gonna take years to pretend to understand that record. Those guys have put together some really complicated tunes.

Wow. It’s on AmazonPrime music for free (if you have Prime).

Coworkers will be ignored today and I may actually get some work done.

^^Ha, Hope you're good at multi-tasking! Descending x2 had me sitting here mesmerized for 30 minutes. Haven't even got to the longest song yet.

Was this like when a Pink Floyd album would come out?
Put it on Sonos and turned out the lights and just grooved it.

You really think Maynard would want to keep doing the same kinda stuff?

Amazon is giving an error when I try to play"We're Sorry We are unable to complete your action. Please try again later." And they don't seem to have the CD for sale. I really don't like amazon.

Those were the 2 new tunes they played live this spring, been digging on those via YouTube ever since.
Really enjoying 7empest. Best tune on FI IMO. At least today.

HOLY SHIT. All time..... Only Rock and Rollas i love I haven’t seen live. Fuck that, 1000 mile rule in effect, if they’re within that range, I’m going. Haven’t stopped listening since this morning......

I keep going back to Pneuma. The intro kinda sounds like Eminem's 8 Mile.
I played Descending for my girls on the way home from dance practice.
I asked if they liked it, and the 12 years old said, KINDA. Which is high praise from her.
    Maynard should be proud.

Holy shit. Some complex songs. Best rock drumming I have maybe ever heard. Carey is basically the lead instrumentalist. Some crazy time signatures as well. Stoked to figure this one out for the next little bit.

Still my favorite, after several runs through the album. Sounded so good out on the water yesterday. Pretty sure the condo dwellers on the canal thought so too.
