Girlfriend's folks have a court in the yard. It's a great game but my skills decline rapidly with a couple beers. The shit talking increases though.

All the rage with the retired groups around here, have heard of a number of injuries that shuffleboard players probably would not experience.

Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.

So MT junior was a pretty serious HS tennis player before getting the senior-itis. We were in Hilton Head Island for a week and he hit a day or two at smith-sterns. Walking into that place, jueasus, the "wreeekkk" of the paddles was just defining. I bet there were 30 pickleball courts raging and 15 empty tennis courts. think the minium age for pickleball that day was 60.
but to the op, it's tennis for pussies and old people.
now get off my lawn."Can't you see..."

there's no place to play tennis in the winter where i live so it's nice to have this in the gym. I like being able to spin and curve the shots like in pingpong....not sure if you can really do that with tennis.

and I find it interesting how being younger and athletic isn't as much of an advantage as one would think....strategery!

It's basically ping pong where you stand on the table, use shitty rackets and a fucked up ball. I remember it being fun as hell in high school though.
Go to 8:22. I tried to embed it there but failed. Or, just watch the whole thing.

^ if you are saying what i think you are I wouldn't argue the point (see avitar).
Where I'm at, though, it's a pretty big passtime for when you have a family and buy a house. esp. considering we are about 2k miles from any serious skiing. google "ALTA" sometime see what comes up. While there is little "real" risk, it does take a surprising amount of athleticisim. Pickle ball requires virtually none.
Kinda like the drill team girl calling the Majorette a nerd. YMMV."Can't you see..."
