Meet the Pint, $950 at release https://onewheel.com/products/pint
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

While it looks cool for the golf course, all I can imagine is the asshats riding down the city sidewalks fucking up the normal pedestrian flow...and then getting an attitude about the people in their way.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Right, but can you start a fire with it or use it as an IED?

Got the pint a few days ago for my wife. It’s amazing. Didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do. Got the xr coming for me in a few days.

Well, the XR came and I like it much better. So much so that we sold the pint and got another XR for the wife. Way more stable at speed, better off road, and more comfortable ride, imo.

They look incredibly fun and I have a snowboarding buddy that is singing their praises for getting your summer carving fix, but I just can't justify the $$ given I already have a longboard and a couple of bikes. There's more toys I'd like to play with than time to play with them.

I’ve lost some skin but that’s about it so far (Knocks wood). My wife pulled a boob.

That would be my concern. They look fun, but it's a motor. The problem with a motor (for me) is, "I'll just grab the one-wheel and meet you for a beer at the beach" and then crash a burn on the way home. Also, it's not athletic enough to just go "do" even though the carve feeling is very appealing.

My son did apply to work for them, so if he gets the job maybe I'll end up with one anyway.

I see folks riding them frequently on the cruiser paved stuff but the folks that really get my attention are the ones riding them on the local bmx track. That's freaking serious.

We sell pints and xrs at the ebike shop i work at. One of our employees was playing on one and wiped out and busted her arm a couple weeks ago. It was considered a work related incedent so her lost wages and physio are all covered. We're in Canada so ER room, xray, and doc visits are all already covered.

Holy shit onewheeling is fucking fun. No bails yet. Definitely a different balance point than all other board sports. Such a fucking blast. 2k well spent.
