New Full Tilts. Improved?
I'm thinking of new FTs since my beloved 6 year old First Chairs are getting sloppy, and, since I can't replace the toe piece, I don't want to spend money on a new liner. A shop person told me that they are "better" these days as I handled a new pair. How so, other than the toe piece? Also, should I just go for the stock liner, or, a different Intuition? Whats the dif?
I'm waiting for the fall. Plenty of time.

Those above are based on the 102 descendant last. Benny is referring to the 99 last original mold.
They are same as yours but you say you don't have a replaceable toe? So your first chair 6's are a few years old and original shells. The ones with the replaceable toes are the soul shell. Same as original with a marginally wider toe box only.
I've only skied the original shells but I don't think I'd have any issue with a bit more toe box space as it would be filled up with Intuition foam anyway.
I think all full tilt liners are much softer than intuitions but I'd happily ski the full tilt Pro liner and not swap it out.
All buckles are alu and 'wide track' on newer ones.

Yeah but Plake and Dalbello's copied the flexon's in the first place so all is fair in love and gear design.

Yeah, but you can buy the stiffest tongues you want anywhere. “A” flex dalbello tongues seem to be fictional.
