Magic 30" of fun 3/8/18
An optimistic forecast for southern Vermont had me reserve a room at MyNameIsAugustWests cabin at the base of Magic Mountain. Left at 6:30 and a car with all seasons was in front of me as I left my nest at Sugarbush, they were going a modest 30 mph but sped up at the Sugarbush Inn and lost it on the first turn doing a nice ditch slam 360 before straddling the ditch. Car coming up the hill attend to the uninjured occupants
Snowing hard in Plymouth
My hosts drive was deep
Found Earlywood in the ticket office
And caught 3rd chair
DoWork slaying for an early photo shoot
Caught by Goniff on chair 1

Non Mag Bill
A few runs later, Earlywood

And he disappears into the white room, again!
A great time was had almost making it to last chair. Stayed another night at the Cabin and skied Friday. My hosts, who I can't thank enough, were awesome. Mrs. MNIAW asked at lunch break, Would you like a Rueben?, FKNA, YES!
3:57 last chair , snowing and groms ripping down. Life Is Good!
Round 2 on its way!

Mmmmmmmmmmm
HOF day in southern VT. Excellent stoke.Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Nice grabs. Looks better than it was. Like, maybe 8 good turns up top. The bottom was one trench, back to the chair. At which point you waited for 30 plus to get back to the top. Anyone who sez it was it more epic than, Big Wednesday, from back in the day, is fluffing.
Good, not great. Too much snow, and the density was no way near blower.
I love that place, but I loved it more when no one knew about it.
Old guy.

I don't know what Big Wednesday is, where you were skiing, or with whom, but there is absolutely no doubt that last Thursday was an unreal ski day in Vermont. Almost 2 dozen pics in this thread alone show it was a fan-fucking-tastic time, nevertheless what was posted in the Magic thread. C'mon, G, how did you not have a great time?

Great shots! Can’t believe I was sitting in a hotel room in Cambridge during this...
What’s the matta Butta? They didn’t have any thing groomed for you? Missing Okeehmo?

Magic 30" of fun 3/8/18
Come on y’all. Just calling it like I saw it. It was good, I said it was good! But it was not the best day ever in the history of skiing in VT. Even on my 189 ‘toons, shit was heavy. Had to work every turn and the bottom runout was brutal. And yeah, I miss the old days of skiing on the lift on a pow day. Stoked for the place for sure, DW is a great guy and I hope for nothing but the best for that hill.

I'll never forget Big Wednesday either, Buttah, a different snow consistency and maybe a storm that wasn't so advertised thus lines were low... I dunno...all I gotta say is... damn I look good....
