Stay Home or "Send it" West? Time sensitive.

Supposed to go to Utah Wednesday. Seems like a bad idea to leave an EC Storm to ski out there. These past several days were pretty special in Vermont.

We have okay base depth in Utah and the forecast calls for significant new snow on Saturday, though I suspect we will see rain up to 8k.

    I say you should go.

Because if you stay this next storm in Vt will be a bust. And I'm skiing Jay and Sugarbush this week sooooooo.

if there wasn't 4 feet down in the last 12 days and more coming it's a no brainer.

addicted to skiing powder, I'm bad company when others are doing it and I'm not, especially at home.

    It's "Go on now"

I just got in from Utah last night after 3 days of blue skies and corduroy. It got pretty warm even up high in BCC but the base depths were much better than a few weeks ago. That being said, I haven't hit a storm cycle yet this season and if I had VT in my backyard with a another storm, I would be tempted to stay home.
Either way Utah is Utah and I can't say I had a bad time. I have two more weekend trips coming up so I am hoping to get some fresh turns. If not, my google tan keeps getting better.

I saw a vid of some klutz in VT with that nice deep heavy dreck that he had to pole through because of 1) density, and 2) lack of decent vertical.

The best day in VT is meh compared to an average day in UT. As a 40 year VT skier, I no longer bother no matter what's in the forecast, and just head west.

absolutely love spring skiing, in the spring. Maybe I'll go and come back, or stay for the storm and go later this week. If the flights get all fucked up tomorrow the discussion may be moot anyway.

I live in Colorado because the skiing and weather is generally much better than VT. And have skied a bunch in UT and the snow is even better there. But this statement is simply not true.

Greg is the fisherman, not the fish.
