Funny, we never lost to Wesleyan when I was in Kollege (in any sport), so I don't have that kind of animus I might if it were, say, Williams or even Middlebury.

Wes hated us though. More than the Ephs.

ha my brother walked on and played across town and then got all pissed when they wanted him to go from attack to d-middie and quit. My kid was determined to play D1, one day he used my computer and later when i went into gmail it was his account, there was like 30 emails from your coach and my moron kid had never even replied. Also other quality D3 programs, But he wouldn't hear of it,.

Lax is actually the greatest game I wish I'd played but never did, my fandom is entirely by osmosis; hadn't even heard of the game until I got out east. But the house I ended up with was the hippy jocks, so mostly rugby and lax players. Minutemen lax were pretty good when I was there. Still are, I see, though not elite.

No I went to Georgetown but I kinda grew up in that world, I know people and shit. That's why it drove me nuts my kid wouldn't hear of it, but he grew up in Maryland, NESCAC wasn't a thing.

HA! I won't kid myself and pretend the Cardinals that won today are a bunch of progressive world changers and self-less NGO bound gentlepersons. What's more, Wes has unapologetically focused on athletic development to drive income for the U, breaking with decades of tradition... and decades of losing. I do know, though, that my film, econ and neuro major Wes lax pals from the 90s who were at Gillette today were pretty stoked.

One of my besties captained 'ol Silent H hockey for a few. His choices were there or Middlebury if he wanted significant playing time. He missed out on 4 straight national championships at Midd. He was happy with his choice none-the-less. Go Little Three

Just got back from the game, hung out with fellow mag Diamond Joe and my brother, good times. Duke wouldn't go away but thank god they didn't win!
