    Wesleyan is like Syracuse Hoops in that they run a funky zone defense. The other NESCAC teams see it yearly and have a good take on it. Other teams not so much. RIT had no idea what they were doing. Wesleyan Tech can also score in buckets.

    It was an insane second half. I forget how many goals total scored in the 4th, but it really felt like neither team possessed the ball at all- just shot and scored. I was certain that RIT was gonna run it up into the 20s and take the game, but WesT kept pace and held on.

    As for D1- go Albany. This kid is THE most fun to watch:

    That said, Connor Kelly is an AOF kid and a Tewaaraton finalist, so I want to see him crush it this weekend. Also Ben Reeves (Yale) is FILTHY and crazy smart, so that's cool too. Finally, Quint Kessenich might be the worst sportscaster on air.

    My neighbor from down the street in H.S. is coaching the St Leo Lions from down here. They are in the DII championship game on Sunday. If anyone is there, root for St Leo. Lax is just getting popular down here, so it is pretty impressive that they are even there.

    edit: yeah it's tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:00. Why wouldn't they be the same day? Maybe they could sell out the stadium and create some buzz. NCAA is not genius.

    I love Salisbury lax, them and Cortland and of course the Jumbos, but fuck Wesleyan. Which means Wesleyan is gonna win. Fuck.

    Went to Salisbury-Cortland last go-round at Gillette, back in 2012. That was pretty epic.
