PSA - Warning, Texans are heading to your ski area!

It is spring break for the Texas school districts and they will arrive ready to wreak havoc on your local ski areas. They have new ski/snowboard equipment and clothing, accessories etc. They may cause mayhem and spend stupid money in the areas of their choice.
Some have been going to areas all there life and are you will not notice them.
The newbies and once a year warriors will be gone in a week so let them have fun and help them out if you can.

We were all gapers at some point in our lives and we need to keep this sport growing!
See you in April when they are gone!

Heh. But seriously, Texas spring break brings a flood of Barbie-looking ladies here to NM. It's kind of startling at first, nice to look at for a while after a long winter, but then they get to you pretty quickly.

Fact. Road up Lenawee with what I thought was a youngish snowboarder gal yesterday. She was probably 40, wearing as skin-tight clothing as ski clothing gets. MILF, who is on her first of 3 weeks in CO as each of her kids has a different spring break.

She biffed it getting off the lift and took her sweet time to get up.

I mean, they're not coming here to ski, and the AA direct flights to Dallas and Chicago might only be in the summer. Just not looking forward to hearing that accent. Don't forget to bring your gun in case you get attacked by a black bear in the middle of a big open popular hiking trail at 12:30pm.

The rain is really nice, because it's just unpredictable enough that no one comes here on a ski vacation. On the other hand, the Pugetopolis has the crowding covered

And sorority girls showing off their real ones.. Some of the most fun I ever had skiing was hitting on Texas girls during spring break in New Mexico. Granted, I was skiing with mostly flatlanders at the time so skiing took 2nd to the other festivities that week. Damn, not too far off from my daughter being the college kid on vacation ... CRAP!!!!

They better also stock up on ranch dressing. I don't think there is a single food item that Texans won't dip in ranch. I'm sure many bathe in it as well.

20 years or so, no? Texas spring break was always Purg's big spring break week, even before the flights. The drive to Purg isn't so bad, so most already drove. Impact to Missoula could be worse.
