RS200s are so sweet. One of the few Group B cars that still looks good. Had the chance to drive one at Goodwood a few years back and it was just magical. Wish I could afford one.
Talking of things financial (and car related), I'm now £50 poorer as a result of being nailed by a bus lane scamera. Pulled over to post a letter, got back in the car and some fugger wouldn't let me rejoin the queue. Instead of sitting there, the red mist descended and I just hammered it down the bus lane, catching the changing traffic lights perfectly. So busted.

City centre 'congestion charge' has just gone up to £8 ($14USD) per day for a private vehicle. That might be why. The logic is dumbfounding. Price us out of our cars so we have to use public transport and what was in the news last week? Congestion charging for trains, doubling prices at peak hours. Simply unbelievable.

heh... ask tony for a THIRD WAY
have you ever read something from Jonathan Coe? After reading the house of sleep a few months ago I simply can't stop reading his stuff. His last (the closed circle) has a lot to say about tony's third way

Did someone say monorail?!?
Well, sir, there's nothing on earth
Like a genuine,
Bona fide,
Electrified,
Six-car
Monorail!
What'd I say?

It's like Big Brother. Do anything on a London street and some bugger's recording it. Lenses everywhere...

Maybe it's where I live, but I can probably count on one hand the number of people who own manual's anymore. I'm not even talking about SUVs and Camry's. It's a sad state when somebody can't hop in your car and drive it around the block.

I will always own a manual transmission car. I like to drive, not merely convey.

He took the whole thing apart the last couple of days and I thought it would surely never run again. But I guess he's got mad mechanic skillz because it started last night. Is it ok when flames come out the exhaust?Last edited by SheRa; 07-07-2005 at 05:15 AM.
