Man, some people critize how Paul Allen has blown through his money and made many bad investments, but if you have billions he sure sets the mark for spending it on cool shit.
Read up on that new ship. Must be a dream to work on. I can’t imagine what else he will find with an unlimited budget.

Great Uncle flew fighters from the Yorktown which got hit by planes and then sunk by a sub, survived that and put in enough time to come back to the States to train more pilots. Then got set back out on the Franklin to strike the mainland, he didn't make it back from that. Nobodies knows for sure what happened to him, but they think he was in a plane on deck when they got hit.

Had an uncle that was on the Lexington. Married to my mothers sister.
When he would get drunk (often) he would get all maudlin about the Battle of the Coral Sea and the "Lady Lex".
He was pretty fucked up, maybe by that, maybe just because.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
