WTB: 196cm+ skis - longer the better

Looking for what might be out there that's long...really long. Being 6'9" doesn't help when you're looking for long enough skis. Preferably looking for something 110mm+ width with a length greater than 196cm. Feel free to PM me if you think I'd be interested in what's on offer.

    -Thanks, Todd

I have some 200cm DPS lotus 120 from a few years back in pretty nice shape. 120 underfoot. Pretty much a pow ski although if you're a strong enough skier and you like a turn radius that doesn't exist you could ski em on whatever.

These will crush... and make you stay on your game and become a better skier. The 188 is plenty ski for most mortals. With your height you’ll be able to control the 198.

    Big, stiff, scary, comp ski.
    Double layer of metal.
    112mm waist?
Not that I have time on them, but that was the word on the street.

Should be good for your size/weight.
Probably pick up the Shiro or Lotus too for soft days.

6'9", 235lbs - 40+ years of skiing. Talked with a ski patrol guy yesterday at Snowbird who was on his 6th pair of RC112's! On the fence on whether I age gracefully with a more mild ski or just say 'fuck it' and get a hard-charging monster.

My favorite ski ever. Might be good for you since you have been skiing decades.
Old school gs radius, 40+ meters
Early rise = more maneuverable, not really 200cm
Length and float for the deep days.
In the stiffer layups, it hauls ass on groomers, but does not like bumps.

I find it easy to ski at 215 6’4”

I’ll get pics of the 203 Shiros tomorrow. They are in my locker and haven’t been skiing since you asked.

Pics of the mythical 203 Shiros

Both skis are mounted once at 330 bsl for Pivots on the line

Both skis are mounted once for Marker Jesters at +1 for 305 bsl

One ski has an extra set of holes for Marker Jesters heel piece only at -1 (or something like that). I tried to reuse as many holes as possible and ended up not having long enough of a track for the first try and had to move the track way forward to keep the holes a far apart as possible. Lesson learned!

$250 Flat, $400 with Jesters, shipping not included, send as a gift on PayPal

If I’m off on price, they are unicorns so I have no base for how to price them. I paid $300 a year a go and poked another set of holes in them, hence the new price.

You might actually prefer the Praxis Super Freerides. I really don’t like how stiff the tail is. You can also put just about any BSL for Pivots on them from 305 to 335 with out redrilling them.

T&M - have you considered a custom ski built for you? Is that financially viable? At your size and ability, maybe its time to commit. Never cheap though. My first thought is Mike at Igneous skis in JH. I know he just made a custom build for wild Bill at about 210 cm.. Just a thought.

    Down Countdown 114 in 196, 27m radius
but there might only be two pair in north america, neither of which are for sale
i'm 6-5, 210 and they've been very stable for me, coming from a 12/13 blizzard bodacious which ultimately was just too heavy for me as a daily

if you ever head to euroland, getDown and bring em back; or see if you can work something out with Geo & SiST
    currently stupid cheap at €299
