Only days of Bad Skiing are Days I ski Badly.
I finally get my 14yo Grom and his 2 Buddies in the Truck
At O'dark:30 for a Bellyeare trip form Wrong Island.
8:30 arrival to see if Updates warrant waiting
Thank You to the Power company. Darkness Prevailed.
Off to Plattekill we go after a NoGo decision.
I've never seen a bigger traffic line leaving a hill as coming in.
Not at 9:45am.
Off to Plan C Windham.
With no cell service/data Little did we know that Hunter was unlit.
On Arrival, Zombie Apocalypse protocol applied.
Parking was available in the previous County. Shuttle bus available.
I was able to 4whl over enough of the infected to get a View of the Mountain,
looking like ANT Farm broken over PBJ's on Floor.
I made the heartfelt decision to not unleash the 3 rippers,
unfortunate enough to be trapped in my truck for the 5hrs prior.
Point Break Assessment applied, "DEATH ON A STICK MAN"
I'm a Season Opener Guy, Have accepted the consequence of the WROD.
Never Have I seen this.
Snowshoes and Skins Stayed Home. Second guessing my self on
Uphill Policy on closed resort. I would have like to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
Today, wet slab over ice coast and unknown layers might make me feel better but
I'll never Know. Didnt dig the pit.

YE spelled Riley wrong. Great TR that kinda didn't happen, but a TR on acid is better than none at all.
never skied Hunter, but still want to. used to be, nah, too many vinny and tonys from NYC but after doing a few beer fests there, gotta hit it up sometime.
stayed at Villa Vosilla both times. willie Nelson and Michael franti stay there, works for me, great hot tub and pool and overall vibe.
