Still need to decide on which boards I'm gonna mount the Shifts. Either some FX95s or on fatter 4FRNT Cols. I'd probably get more days on the FX95s.

I agree, i ordered a second pair from Skimo and they are arriving on Wednesday (pre ordered them maybe a month ago). I think Solomon pushed this group buy order to the bottom of the list. Not TMS's fault but kind of annoying by Solomon considering how early we had the preorder in

Here is the email I got on friday-

"Greetings to all our Salomon Shift pre-buyers-

I know you are all anxiously awaiting your brand spanking new bindings
so wanted to make sure you had an update. We just got word from Salomon
after many emails and calls to nail them down and the answer is that our
pre-order shipment will arrive here in Truckee, CA sometime mid-late
November. They said they are running late and they do apologize for
that. Please know this is completely out of Tahoe Mountain Sports' hands
as we are not the manufacturer, just the retailer responsible for your
orders.

Funny enough, we do have the jig already so we will be ready to do any
mounts for any local or regional customers once the bindings do show up.

As soon as the bindings arrive, we will contact you all again, get final
payments, adjust any brake sizes and revise any shipping addresses.

So, hang tight for a few more weeks and look for an update from me later
in November.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

When do you think most of the shops placed their 2018/19 orders? How about last March?

OTOH, I get your point. Can you imagine the hell Salomon would face if shops were waiting for retail inventory and word got out that people on an internet forum were getting theirs both earlier and at a discount?

Would have been able to get some laps in last weekend. Skimo’s order of shifts didn’t seem to be placed last March considering their stock was backordered when I placed mine. I think Solomon prioritizing retail shops over an online discount order is more likely. Not a big deal at the end of the day though and it looks like TMS is shipping soon

Now we need it to start snowing. My bro in Steamboat got a healthy dose over the weekend, but the Wasatch missed out on the main storm track... too far north and too far east.

Did you get a shipping notification? I couldn't figure out how to confirm with paypal so I assumed me paying the final amount meant it was confirmed. Also I couldn't get TMS email to work.
