watching it tonight. Gary Oldman got a bunch of awards for it
Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture – Drama
Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste goood.

I thought that HBO's Into the Storm was a far more interesting, thought provoking portrayal of Churchil and that Darkest Hour was far too romanticized, deferential of him.
Oldman will probably win an Oscar for doing a somewhat mediocre Churchill impersonation.

While I'm a big fan of Gary Oldman aka Zorg, I agree with pthbbbbbtbrit - there have been better characterization's of Winnie - I really liked John Lithgow's in the Crown's first season.
