Another flash flood warning down in GLs neighborhood. I guess he predicted the summer weather when he titled the thread!

Yeah a bunch of spots down here got between 2-4" of rain today. I drove through some deep water on the roads and some creeks were overflowing and running over the road in western CT. Sketchy...

Norwich University Home Coming this weekend. There's gonna be a bunch of food trucks and what not parked at the Trail Head basically. Things are running nice, if you have not ridden here, it'd be a good weekend to check it out. PM me for a route, we don't really have maps or signs.

I did the open/non race/just a ride class bc I’ve got a crew I’m riding with. Not all were on board with a full on race. We’ll be the ones having safety meetings every few miles.

We did a night ride last night. Everyone had upgraded their lights but I was still using my old geomangear set up.
I ordered two new lights this morning.

18 NE - Go on, ride when it's wet
Tried to mix up brown side walks and butthole clenching natural trails the past couple of days.
Can’t really ask for better weather and trail conditions.

Fog didn't burn off until 1 and that combined with all the rain we had last week meant some slick sweaty rocks. Did see this little porcupine on the ride though.

Nabbed an 18 miler in the Fells this morning. Very nice conditions.
I'll be going back to trim back some vegetation and reduce a couple of fallen trees. The sad truth is that whine does not age well

A quick ride Friday evening and trails that were slick as fuck and water flowing strong while trail running Tues/Wed are dry again.
Ferns have died back
Chilling Saturday on the deck, saw 3 shooting stars and wedding fireworks as well.
Sunday gravel to Braintree gap and back, talked with a group of ADV riders who came down right after me, thought I was nuts to do it on drops. The talkative ringleaders 1290 looked like overkill.
So tired of July weather, looking forward to the cool down this week to normal. And it looks like Gravity is going to get wet again.www.apriliaforum.com
