A faculty and friend at a university in central Kalifornia where I once worked, was invited by the Mongolian government several years ago to install one of his prototype solar-thermal collectors in the capital, Wichita. He was there for about a month and raved about how wonderful the people there were. The production of clean heat is a hudge problem there, as they don't have a lot of resources. The city burns old tires along with other refuse to generate heat that's used to make steam, that then flows through pipes around the city.

You're not in Kansas anymore, Viva. The capital of Mongolia is Ulaanbaatar (Ulan Bator). Coupla mags did that race from London to Beijing in a cheap ass car and told me they thought Ulaanbaatar rocked. They stayed in the presidential suite of the largest hotel there and my buddy was all proud of himself for banging the hot lady hotel manager. You ever fucked a Mongolian, Viva? Have you? lmao

    Awesome people.

What a fascinating place. I've always wanted to go there. I had no idea people rode reindeer and chilled with wolves like that! Thanks for sharing, DD. You sure you didn't accidentally post this one from your alias?

Is there skiing? Should get some turns in, too, while we're there. Make it a double win, eh?
