Help me find $20 of obscure, hard to spend currency
I lost a $20 bet. Tradition calls for presenting the $ in a way that makes it hard to spend. Past payments have involved puzzle boxes, picture frames, even a weird robotic skeleton who sang “I’m a super duper pooper” while dancing a little jig (no shit).
I’m thinking I’d like to send the $20 in a weird foreign currency, something the recipient would have a difficult time exchanging for US dollars. Argentinian pesos? Old CCCP rubles? Shell beads from the Solomon Islands?
Who can hook me up with $20 of odd cash? I will happily pay $30 for some almost useless $20 worth of foreign toilet pap... er, money.
Hook me up!

I've got some old pre-Euro currency, maybe some from Yugoslavia before it broke up in 1992. I'll check and advise.

I have a large collection of Canadian Tire money. I guarantee no US bank will touch it. It's as good as gold here though.

I like the Canadian Tire Money idea. I would also go with whichever African country's currency has the highest inflation rate, so by the time it's received it is worthless.

Tough to send by mail.
When people think of money they usually refer to coins and notes made of metal, paper, or plastic. But the Micronesian island of Yap is home to a currency that you're unlikely to fit in your back pocket.
Pacific Islanders have always been very creative when it comes to traditional money. In different places people used shells, feathers, sperm whale teeth, and many other items. But the most surprising and daring traditional “monetary” system was developed in Micronesia.
Yap, one of the four Federated States of Micronesia, lies 2000 kilometres east of the Philippines, and 450 north-east of Palau. Micronesia is comprised of large islands made up of metamorphosed ultramafic and volcanic rocks.
For centuries, people from Yap sailed to the Rock Islands in Palau, where they quarried huge limestone discs and then towed them back home. The largest of the stones weighed around seven tons.
“It’s not really clear when it happened, but oral traditions talk about a famous navigator who voyaged to Palau and found limestone there,” says Dr. Scott Fitzpatrick, an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Oregon.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

In keeping with the spirit of the bet, I need to present an equivalent of $20 USD, so whatever shit money I get has to have an exchange rate (at time of purchase) of $20. Ideally, I'd include a copy of the exchange receipt as proof that it was indeed worth $20 , it's just impossible to get that $20 back out of it.
How much Nigerian money can one get for $20? Bales and bales of paper?
