Aj Burnett. Randy Johnson. Javier Vazquez. A rod's opt out/2nd deal. Cc sabathia's opt out/ 2nd deal. Kevin brown. Just off the top of my head real quick. May not be worse but they're pretty bad.

Wow. Helluva-n inning. Mookie x2, JBJ and Baby Thor (as my wife calls him...and she is sad he cut his hair) having a yard sale.

Dang. Watching hockey, but that looks more entertaining. Caps are taking forever to lose here.

    edit: holy shit they won!

His fastball looked good, but he couldn't locate the off speed stuff and the Sox weren't chasing. Here's hoping the BoSox look like this at the plate all season.

Shit. I started flipping around to other channels before the third.

He looks pretty locked-in at the plate right now.

Yanks looked good at home against a pretty potent Miami team.

Gomes is pretty fun to listen to. This Sox team is also fun to watch.

Not a Gomes guy. It's already late, I know, but he's putting me the fuck to sleep. Just the delivery.

For some reason I think we have posted about this before

    OFFICIAL 2018 MLB THREAD

    Same series last year? Lol.

Agree about the delivery. Very dry.

No about Gomes. I think we discussed it. Hopefully I said the same.

Guy we do some work with texted me from a casino in the Bahamas...the sports book still has a line for Red Sox season wins at 91.5. So I am back to rooting for wins (92 would be perfect).

Yeah I'm a little deja vu-ish about the Gomes thing now that you mention it. I bet I said I liked him back then too.

Oh, yeah. I meant we probably talked about Gomes last year on the West coast swing. It’s late. I can’t write anymore.

Ok. The Sox have made Ohtani look like he needs some time in the minors. He didn’t make a competitive swing at all in that third AB

I can't believe I've been staying up to watch these west coast games but I can't look away. The Sox are just playing so well right now. It is fun to watch.

so well is understatement; they're on a 142 and 20 pace. never gonna happen, but tells you they're on a flat out awesome stretch.

Yanks are tee-ing off again today, i'm not sure they'll get the pitching straightened out to catch the 145 win Red Sox though.
