But those things can add charm. Like the Boston Garden. It had seats behind columns. It also had the best NBA atmosphere ever. It was like Cameron Indoor but the NBA.

There's plenty of o-ree-oles (as they say) fans if you look in the right places. Lately the right place hasn't been Camden yards because them O's are just amazingly embarrassingly terrible, but they have a good fan base.

It didn't help that they traded Machado. Typical. That guy just will not spend for a team, and it's not as though he's in a small market.

Buck is a really good manager, considering above.

Not just Machado, half the team. Amazing Adam Jones is still there but a lot of good players are gone. Crazy that team was so bad, they had talent. Not a Buck fan at all in any way myself, although I do admire his composure as the ship sank beneath him

But yeah, fuck Angelos. What is he, 100? He was ancient when he bought the team like 35 years ago.

I wasn't a huge fan until he left the broadcast booth in the middle of the season and took over an even more miserable team than what he has now. They started winning immediately and were a total pain in the ass to the Yankees, who were trying to make the playoffs. He does a lot with nothing.

Well it looks like we’ve almost proven that the highest paid teams win. #1 and #3 total salaries in the WS.

If Boston wins then we’ll have confirmation of the theory.

WTF?... I tried all my connections, but these are hot tickets.

I even donated $8 to WERS for some. I can not spend $600 for SRO since my kid's in college and we're going to visit in two weeks... in Australia.
