Sox loss I think was my fault. I wore a Papi jersey that is now 0-4 including the playoff sweep a couple years back. I should have known better. Gonna have to retire it now.

Astros roundtripped on 1st at bat also.

I'm no diehard Astros fan, but given they have kate upton's husband for a full season now and starters keuchel, mcullers and mchuegh are unlikely to have the same injury bugs they had last year; it's going to take a helluva postseason series to keep them out of the WS again.

I think they're the team to beat in the AL, but it's a long season and the postseason format lends itself to fluky shit. We shall see. Gotta like Altuve, Springer, and crew, though. They are fun to watch.

Pitching should be okay. Lots of arms there. I really love the lineup, if they can just get some guys to hit HRs towards the high end of their career ranges they're gonna be good. Yeah it's a pretty big if.

Who's the hitting coach this year? I guess I could look it up.
