How to spot a flatlander?

I thought all Snowbird skiers lived down in the flatlands, because it's only a 20-minute drive from the flatlands to the sick mountain part.

Every glove is new at some point. If the whole outfit is new, then yeah. Still "breaking in" my FTP gloves and they are holding up too well. Guess I should have dropped em in the parking lot and kicked them halfway to the lift so I don't look like a doofus.

this is almost getting into tech talk, but salvaging thrashed gear isn't just a ski bum look, it's says I don't need a new goretex jacket for big $$$. Duct tape is pretty easy but not very tech. For a few $$ more and some craftsmanship, gear can last a few more seasons. Saw this the other day. This Ryan rips pretty hard at Breck. The gin and tonic is an essential part of the process
