    non-stealth = external routing?

If you're interested in going the very inexpensive route, I have a Crank Bros Joplin that was on my Mojo. 31.6, remote lever. 3" drop, I think -- whatever the basic model was. It works fine. $60.

Have you looked into PNWs options?

I had very few problems with my KS eTen remote thatís available new for under $120 at several shops.

Seems like Smokan has had good luck with a bunch of PNW posts on his rental fleet. Thatís about as good an anecdote as you can hope for.

FWIW, a buddy of mine has a PNW he really likes. He just bought a Brand-X and says itís indistinguishable from the PNW. Too soon to say if it holds up, but definitely a solid budget option.

    Bump - Still looking.

Soups has a super clean post if anyone is seasoned at servicing KS posts.

Yep, I can get you a 20% discount on PNW if you want to buy new. Like jm2e said above, I've had really good luck with all of the posts I've used on my demo fleet so far. Their Cascade is 31.6 with 125mm of travel, and with my discount it'll be around $175. Not bad.

If anyoneís still looking, I have an external hose Reverb that I have been keeping as a spare, A2 version with B1 internals. I have been meaning to post it up and would let it go pretty cheap.

The Brand-X Ascend II post appear to be identical for a bit less. Seems like PNW is just buying these from the same manufacturer and putting their logo on them. Maybe you get a better warranty for the extra $$?

Regardless of what you get, these are a great choice. The only thing I don't like about these posts is the cable routing tube going into the lever seems a bit flimsy and seems like it would get bent during a crash. Thinking about picking up a wolftooth remote to fix that if it breaks.

6-month follow up, I ended up with a PNW post after Smmokan's referral.

For the cost, it's amazing. No complaints what so ever.

FWIW I installed my new PNW Cascade yesterday - clearly I have no view on durability or long term reliability but my first impressions are extremely positive.
Thing is very smooth and absolutely no play in it whatsoever (unlike some of my friends high $$ posts that I've ridden)
And the owner is straight up a good dude - I had prepurchase questions and an install questions so we exchanged a few emails and he is super responsive and helpful.
