Poked some holes before the game yesterday. It was pretty good.

Spent 7 hours in the car yesterday to float 7 miles.
    Worth it.

I use kebari dirt snake fly and tenkara was berry good! Probably caught 30 perfect little rainbows, none planters, down in Utah County right next to state street! Oh and browny too. 🎣🎣🎣

Skeeter lagoon! My home water. Looks like you went out of Oak Hill. Grass flats are still hanging up at that end with New Symrna Inlet giving them clean water. My peoples say the south end and especially the North Indian River are really struggling. Looks like a fun trip with some ripped lips!

My buddy has a place in Lighthouse Cove, so we usually launch from there. We use some ramps to the south sometimes, and we went all the way down to the bottom this trip. I can't speak to the grass too much, because I've only been there during winter and there isn't much grass around. Plenty of manatees though. I've never been north of JB's.

We took a walk over the dunes to the beach on this trip, and it was very cool. I'd love to spend a day surf fishing and drinking out there.

Those fish are really fucking challenging. I want one of those gator trout so bad, but I've never come close to hooking one.

If you guys want to listen to me putting my foot in my mouth and bullshitting with the locals for a few hours, here's a thing. Still looking for names, if anyone has a suggestion. https://soundcloud.com/andrew-gilber...-episode-716th

I’m missing the poopfish too. I just need to get out and fish period. Love the kid stoke.

Underoos- those guys have to change their name? I always enjoy the banter when I’ve listened. How about ‘From the Reels’?

Yep that little stretch of riverfront is on the short list to retire to. Fishing, surfing, cheap easy liven. Did you eat at Goodrich Seafood? Best smoked mullet ever lol! There are monster reds in that surfline and just offshore. The Canaveral National Seashore iz a treasure... except for the nude beach. Go back in the fall for mullet run you can get bonita cobia hudge jacks all from the beach

We make a habit out of going to Goodrich. Went there for breakfast twice on this trip. It's cheap. Saw Larry Czonka (owner) there last year. The mullet on the menu always cracks me up. Never had the balls to try it.

I've been warned about the nude beach...

Jumped my first tarpon from this jetty while waiting for the guide to pick me up at 6am. Had shots at some large bones and tailing permit but salty fish are finicky. Unfortunately the fishing wasn't as good as the surfing and diving on this trip but I've got nothing to complain about.
