I'd be down. Have a drifter and a bucket boat. Pretty much on the water most weekends up here in MT.

Djongo...I don't know shit compared to these pescadopros but if novices are welcome, I would love to join you on your learning journey. I'll be over your way a few times this summer and I can only imagine how stoked the mrs would be for me to add a 3rd fishing trip to your back yard paradise.

Yeah, that was a fucking gorgeous post!... rolling laughing.

Alright, alright, alright; Outstanding vibe in here. Maybe youse guys can start rolling around in yer heads things like timing etc. I don't know when fishing is good.
If you can figure those deets, I will gladly be the Logistics Boss. I try to be very organized so that on action days I can be super flexible or baked to the gills...and not sweat a thing.

Yo MK- yeah, you're on my shortlist fo sho. You show, we go...

Is Pescadero a word? sounds tough.

LLS - I got so much life-link stuff, I gotta meet you on principle man.

Well, kick it out and around and lets see if we can't build an amazing wydaho event this summer...

Something to consider is depending on when summer actually shows up runoff could be big and long. Already planning on putting work on the little trolling motor on some lakes.

Djongo- I'm still going through my old lifelink gear. Worked there for like 5yrs BITD.

Agreed, although for what its worth, our pack down here, methinks, is a bit shallower than yours. My $2 bet says runoff'll be early and quick... just stabbing there. Hard sayin', not knowin'...

I bet 37 cents we've met or have mutuals . Kewl...

I am always down to fish. I should be in the hood parts of May and June and all of July and parts of August. Naturally I will have a drift boat and a plethora of fly rods and gear. I row for beer.

Edited to add, I will be holding rowing camp all summer as well since Miss Teleee is going to have to learn - I aint rowing her ass all summer without fishing a little!

Choice photo B.; That could be an L.L. Bean Ad for kids gear...

The hands look so gentle... and the freckles!
I had those same freckles as a kid and hated it, adults always teasing me.
Love to see them as an old guy, reminds me of my youth.

Djongo - I am happy to teach you how to row a drift boat. Unfortunately, for my fishing time, I am pretty much out of service every weekend until mid June with kid sports travel or in town tourneys. Happy to get a drink or two on a weekday sometime tho and make fishin plans. I can occasionally make it happen during the week too.

We used to have a Northern Rockies summit in the fall. ‘Twas fun. Might work for me if we did it in the summer. I remember scheduling to meet everyone’s needs was a big fuckin project. Seems to work better to get together with guys from here when it works in smaller groups.

Teleee - let’s have a weekday “work” Fish day one of these days. I can find a bridge that needs repair somewhere!

I intend to get to Irwin on May 4th, staying for the weekend, work in Salt Lake the 7th thru the 11th of May. And then spend a week or possible 2 in Irwin, getting the pad ready for summer debauchery and doing some fishing, lets get out! Of course that invitation is open to anybody else as well. Snapt, dfinn fujative etc....
I am not sure how the flows will be it could be tough by then.

Stellar! Thanks Schwerty; skifishbum gave me a brief lowdown on ya and I surely wanna touch base at some point. I roll around the Block on my Moto quite a bit in the other 3 seasons, so getting down S.fork way is easy peasy. IIRC you are down that way?

I don't wanna make a nightmare scenario out of this for sure. Maybe the best approach is a general open door policy; Out of towners just holler as soon as they know their timing, and then locals can just pile on as they like.

But also set one or two dates for people to shoot for.

Still wide open to ideas, but at some point I'll need to make decisions. And from what I've seen, this is a highly capable crew. Able to make awesome times happen in short order...

SFB told me about the F******* gig and then after the photos, I just wanna live some of that.

Yeah! That was a hoot! Still recall one of those hangovers from that trip. Were you on the Henry’s trip when we thought we lost SFB after he and Kessler took about 8 hours to float the upper Henry’s? That one was outstanding too.

    - agreed, Fixed it

    - and that Res. is so remote any hoo. Maybe not so for the Pescadores, though...

    - SFB n' Kessler for 8hrs on the henry's? Oh what fun.
    - U-roo, choice kid shots, too funny little backpack guy. Zonked.
    - Coupla fine looking hounds in there, I must say.
    - first trout photo is just glorious colors, them freckles again...

Will do Schwerty, back in the Hole in about 3-4 weeks.

Another fun as fuck weekend. Ventured North to meet up with fellow maggots and drakians. Lotta drinking, fishing, and celebrating the season.

Left the valley expecting to replenish the box wine supply at Hamsfork. To my surprise box wine was not on the menu, I had to settle for a few screw too magnums

Luckily Lumpy was still in the valley of people and was able to supplement my supply.

Settled in and the dog is checking out the fishing possibilities.

Got up the next morning and we had a full crew. Hit the river with five boats, it wasn’t busy except for us, we were the crowd.

Fairly slow day, I was happy to stick a few on a bobber rig while I waited for Lumpy to shake off a raging hangover
