having already spent 34 and a good 350 miles first in packrafts from the source switchin to the custom dory at warren bridge all of the fonts and flaming gorge reserviors

enjoyed a banner sunset after another day of the rivers blessings







rowed around the res saw a few poopers but alot of deep water breaching and disappearing going on and clouds n winds showed up
woke and boked as the piscatorial pursuits continued after a breezy cool night

a trailer fender makes a pretty good windbreak

hit the res a little late glare and a frontal passage made the poopfish window short and tough but mr toaster got a shot or 2

and yet another stellar sunset

said goodbyes to our friends and made plans for more

got another project healing waters vet outing weds the 26 out at the heiner ranch if ya can get away

Hitting the last month of the season here in Vt. Drought all summer means I haven't fished for anything but brookies up high and bass all summer. Got out the last 2 days looking for the hogs now that water temps are down. Flows are still way low but there's a spot or two where you can get a drift.

Somewhere in the Winooski watershed....Go spawn fattie.
