Call it. Im In BV, let’s roll. Pick up ride ski, I’ve got friends in Bozeman, but that’s as close as I get to the fish.

    When do we roll?

Party town, and the skiing is pretty dang good.
I’ve skied at the Snow Bowl and Big Mountain.
It’s been a while, need to get back there.
    Get some.

1,008 miles one way, round to 2,300, would be about $479 gas in my rig. Seats 3 comfortably 4 maybe plus half a ton of gear.
I hear window tix are $79 season pass $600.
    Haven't looked into lodging yet.

Get lift tickets at Costco in Kalispell. They come in 2 packs, and you can returned unused pairs (as long as the envelope is unopened). I think they end up being around $55 per ticket.

While you're in the neighborhood, fernie is a short drive.

Whitefish is running a ski and stay package for $89 per person. check their website for details.

Fernie has been getting quite a bit more snow then there and is only 2 hours north.

Any chance you can send your G6 for a Terrace pickup? I'll be patiently waiting at YXT with a quiver of fatties for you to test run at Castle. (i remember we have same bsl)

Douchebag may be a bit of a misnomer here, but I was never happy about the rebranding of Big Mountain, especially after growing up skiing there. As this was in the wake of the ownership change into corporate/foreign hands, there was much to be angered about and the rebranding was the the most visible thing to hate on. We used to only have to deal with friendly Canadian tourists, but by the time I left the flathead the increasing crowds were definitely becoming a problem on the hill.

Was always a fan of the old school logo, and I wished they would've at least kept it.

have 3 free days at whitefish. Really wanting to go up there and also hit Revelstoke and Fernie. Missed the big powder days cuz of work. Should I go now or wait until the next big storm?

It's been cold lately. Today was super deep goodness. Calling for big winds tomorrow. Snowpack is deep, like 160% of normal.

Nothing worse than your home hill being rebranded "mountain resort"...God what an abomination. There is hope though, after years of mockery by locals, Durango "mountain resort" finally gave in and changed the name back to Purgarory.

It's good, and looks likes it should be good all week as long as the wind doesn't get too frisky.
