I tried a Vinho Verde that was kinda spritzy that I REALLY liked.
Totally yummy.

Yeah Miller Lite for life.
Do’nt see myself becoming a wine drinker anytime soon.

What I do’nt get is the various flavors.
Like, they would say, “this sauvignon blank has lemongrass and kiwi notes.”
or “this malbec has a hint of graphite,” (wth???)
“this chardonnay is buttery.”
You get the idea.
Do they actually add that crap to the wine?

KQ, care to chime in here on the quality of SE Washington wines? They are pretty good. L'ECole = basalty dirt tasting, but GOOD.
Did they have any Cabernet Franc at your wine tasting DSM? Cool history of that varietal and one of my favorites to eat with steak or just drink.
Merlot = not a favorite, but when blended with other varieties it's pretty good.
Table wine = cheap blend that the winery couldn't find a better use for.
Viticulture is a pretty cool science, splicing, pollenating, selection all to make a better tasting grape.
And, yes, I drink Miller Lite too.

I live S. of the M-D line and drink both. Some would say too much of both. In the same evening.
Heh - "pretty good." Some of the best reds in the world come from KQ's neighborhood.
And, yes, I drink Miller Lite too.

I’ve been loving everything from Le ptit Paysan. Ian Brand is killing it.
Also, Sea Pearls, a Sauvignon Blanc from, Marlborough, is a go to, for crisp, mineral acidity. I like drinking wine.
Go on nowcrab in my shoe mouth
