Consensus in Padded Room is that it was dumb.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, video is out for Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women.

Winning run was over the top, so much speed to contol into the backie and then so strong to hold on and get into the last feature.

Definitely impressed.

I got to watch from Ten Sleep Bowl and it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I hope they do it again next year. As many many people commented, it was the best worst idea JHMR marketing has ever had.

The Kings & Queens of Corbet’s in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is one of the most exciting weeks of the winter. If last year's inuaugural event was any indication, this is—hands-down—one of the rowidest competitions in skiing. In short, the peer-judged competition sees 25 of the best skiers and riders huck themselves into the famed Corbet's Couloir for a shot at ultimate bragging rights.

This year, FREESKIER has partnered with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Tincup to bring some hip hop royalty to town for the Official Awards Party on Saturday, February 16, at the Pink Garter Theatre. Come out for a night you won’t soon forget as we crown the official 2019 King and Queen of Corbet’s and party the night away with music by legendary rap group The Pharcyde.

My buddies and I happened to be at JH during the inaugural K and Q of C....did not watch any of it, skied a lot, including a pretty awesome airforce chute(first time, had gear, etc) we figured the awards event at the Moose was the best place to feel as though you were part of it, and feel good about that decision...unless you plan to huck into the Couloir, I recommend attending the above mentioned post party - should be fun!

Considering the run has been closed for a while and they've gotten pretty good snow, it seems as though there would be no real reason not to send it. Should be sick, hopefully the live stream is better than last year.
