    Out here at La Plagne France! Snows the first 6 days I was here!

    Was there from the 23rd, had great conditions. Especially when the Glacier sector was closed all week, and opened on the saturday after the snowpack stabilised through the week. First few lifts up and the whole area under the lift was powder, plenty whooping and hollering as everyone came down.

    The area under Rochu/to the left of the chalet de bellecote chair was superb as well. It was a ridiculously good day:

    That whole sector is a playground. Amazing when the conditions are right, even when it's spring snow you can get some lovely stuff there, plus the drop into Rochu and that face is a nice wee steep.

    Deep euro snows

    Some of the biggest dumps I've seen have been in the Alps. Bigger but less frequent than in the US. Was in Val d'isre when the entire valley (tinges too). was shut down.
