Norrona Lofoten Shell $100 shipped lower 48

    ******SOLD******

Used Norrona Lofoten shell for $100 shipped to the lower 48. If you are not in that area let me know and we can work out the shipping.

There is a lot of life left, it’s been cleaned, and re’dwr treated.

Black, with orange trim, wrist gators, fully featured 3 layer shell with a great hood.

Issues - It has a bit of rash on the back lower area just above the hem area where one of the buttons caps fell off that clips to corresponding Norrona pants if you have them.

The button top fell off and then the little post under the button cap started to run through the coat fabric. I haven’t repaired it with some gore repair tape from the inside/outside if desired. It’s super low on the jacket so isn’t a leak point in a critical area of the jacket. The patch kits cost about $10.

Let me know of any questions.

PayPal/Venmo transfer or you pick up credit card fees.

Wrist gator images - some wear but completely functional.

Showing the rash in a non-critical area.

There should be two buttons here - the left one is missing.

I am interested but not certain on sizing. How big are you and how did it fit?

6’3” 220 - skiing strong safety - that said - it fits good in a euro way - long sleeves (I’m a 35” sleeve in a dress shirt and there is more length) for wrist coverage, longer cut in the body, snow skirt hits me mid hips/basically mid ass), so good length, room for some layers, but I would say for me it fit well.

I am a tweener with lots of brands, I can wear large or xl, depending on the brand.

Look up the size scales over at backcountry.com for some perspective. They still sell this same jacket.

Fwiw, I'm between a medium and a large in most brands at 6' 175# and my large Lofoten shell is a bit big on me. It's not baggy but definitely provides full coverage. Longer than average sleeves / hem and medium volume torso.

Yup - I’d say that’s really accurate - only thing I’d as is the sleeves are in the longer side for sizing - again it’s a good thing for coverage.

You’d likely be square in medium

My experience would say somewhere on the edge of medium or large. But I’ll take the optimistic estimate of my physique ;-)

Heh. I️ spose it is accurate to say now that I’m a full-body dentist... gentleman may be taking it a bit far.

Boss gave green light but need to look more into reviews re: few pockets.

Gotta have lots of pockets for tunes, “that kind bud” (aka sunscreen) etc.

Love my Arcteryx sidewinder’s configuration of smaller upper chest pocket + two large belly pockets + radio pocket on sleeve for phone.

PNW, did you ever find yourself wishing for more pockets w this?

Also: do you like the pit zips?

plenty of pockets in my book - their is a sleeve pocket for pass, phones, etc. The inside chest pocket fits a phone, and there are two decent sized chest pockets that are pretty deep.

There are no traditional side pockets.

Up here (cascades) pit zips are a prerequisite and these ones are huge.

I never wanted/needed more pockets - my ski pants have a couple of really good thigh pockets for extra stuff and this was mainly a resort/slackcountry jacket - only issue was that button on the snow skirt falling apart and leaving the pointy bits left to poke through the lower back part of the jacket when getting on/off lifts.

I really like the hood/collar combo. Let me know of of any other questions.
