When the gaggle walked passed me they all had this super creepy glazed over...cult-like...look on their faces. Immediately creeped me out.

This is like the fucking duggers from that 18 kids and counting show.

Article in Bloomberg about IKON/ EPIC. Well so here is why there is confusion about how much the partner resorts make. Its D all of the above, some get a flat rate, some get a blended rate.

Under the partnership agreements, a resort would be paid for each day a skier swiped her Ikon Pass—either a negotiated fee or a “blended rate” based on how many Ikon days were tallied over the course of a winter.

Got stuck on the double for about 5 hours right where you can dodge skiers right off Broncho by the wrecked car in the woods. It was soooooo cold

Do you guys at Jackson and Big Sky get the billboard treatment too or do you not need the extra publicity?

Hey, it took years of commitment to the Tomba Training Program to get myself up to weight to really bend a ski. Thanks for noticing.

SX-72? Far to soft for my heft. SX-91’s needed to drive the Goliaths! I can also take them off without having to bend over and stress my gut. Comfy and warm too.

Derr, of course they’re 91’s, what was I thinking?
But, how? The liner hasn’t disintegrated? The soles are still good?
Man, you need to do a trip report focused on those boots!

Ebay, man EBay! I buy up all the low mileage units from the Midwest. I think I have enough pairs in reserve to get me through to the end of days. I never wore them back in the day... I was a plug boot stick chaser with no toenails back then. Hence the appreciation now.

I think the second oldest daughter being a coffee rebel gives it away. Unless the latest mo-mo literature expanded the list of appropriate libations.

I was in the Sports Loft in SLC on Highland, for the uniformed they essentially only sell boots. 80+ year old walks in with five Salomon rear entry boots. As I am standing there I ask him what's the deal? he says he scours EBAY, DI, Goodwills etc and buys them for parts for the boots he uses. Brings them to the Sports Loft and they keep them in the back just for him.

BTW, a close friend who refused to ski in anything other than the SX 91's passed away after a long illness about five years ago. He owned his own business and was well off, money was no object. We always gave him shit about his old rear entry boots to the point that he got testy about it so we dropped it. At the funeral they had his helmet on the casket, ski's propped up, pictures galore of his ski trips etc. I asked his daughter where Chuck's boots are? You got it, she said "he's wearing them".

My man! If they were good enough for Schmidt, Hattrup, and Chuck then they're good enough for me. Did I mention comfy and warm?

I had a pair of 91Es the red and white ones with foam injection liners and really liked them. I missed them a few years after I went back to 4 buckle boots. Perhaps my memory of the good old days far exceeds reality but for their time they were awesome.

I was at Targhee last year and looked down and somebody just took off a pair of red ones that looked basically brand new. I even took a picture, have it somewhere. Stange, he was maybe 45.
