Ya those are all early season full pass prices without renewals. I was 1149 and ended up at 1659 with first tracks, after tax and everything

Wasn’t the Ikon Base early discount price $600 only a few years ago?

Ya. Wasn’t gas and diesel in the low $2.00 range a few years ago too?

Got 21 days on my full pass, so about $50 per day. 15 days for the kids on their base pass, so about $13 per day, but ended up never skiing someplace the 6 yo wasn't free, so didn't actually need a pass for her. Overall, I think I got my moneys worth.

Still thinking next year going base pass for me, but after 2 amazing days at JHMR and 1 at Alta-bird and avoid Feb blackout, rethinking just to have more flexibility. Next year, xmas/ny will be MT Snowbowl(lift tickets); June Mtn for Feb ski week (kids free); Big Sky April pass for Spring Break($145).

So given your 44 days that’s less than $20 a day. Seems like a good deal to me

    Ikon Pass

Yeah, if you live close to a ski area and ski a lot a season pass is a bargain even if at first glance it seems like a steep price.

I’ve skied for as little as $5 a day on a pass 15 years ago. Lately it’s been around $10-12 a day. Still a bargain.

I could save $3000/year by not buying passes and getting my exercise shoveling my driveway by hand, but I think I'll stick with skiing and paying a guy to plow.

Base pass+ is $1000 more for my family of 4 with girls 5 and 8. Full Ikon is $869 more for us, but cheaper than the base+ by $131. Not worth it for us. $2036 for 4 base passes it is.

    Ikon Pass

Plus there’s a free bike park day this year! I’d love if they did a winter/summer pass, allowing for unlimited skiing and biking.

Does an ikon 2 day session pass give you 2 days total or 2 days at each resort listed

2 days total, and I think not good at some Ikon destinations.

Has anyone used the Pass Protection insurance to get their pass refunded?

Thanks. That was kind of my guess as to how it worked. Kind of sucks for people that buy a pass only to use for a late season trip since tickets are so expensive and end up getting hurt after most of the season is gone yet never using the pass

I got the full IMON pass. Allows me to take multiple Safety Meetings and listen to reggae all season!
