Such an icon. I have so many fond memories of watching his films from a young age.

In addition to entertaining so many skiers for so long it looks like Warren lived his words of advise, mentioned many times in this thread, to the fullest. Ski,Surf, Boat in Peace!

During the '67-'68 season there was a showing in Stowe. My folks dropped me off to see it. I was hanging in the back with my pals the local kids. Normally we would be cutting up and making noise.
Not that night, we were all absorbed in what Mr. Miller was showing and saying. We ganged up on him after the show, making sure he didn't have to carry all his gear out to his beat up old car. I had a box of backup reels and empty reels. The others carried various other things...we felt the honor deeply.
We all walked back home after, me to the Tibbetts House and the others to their homes. Sunday we went back to cutting up on the mountain as usual....well, maybe a bit more inspired. The sad truth is that whine does not age well

He lived a great life.
After serving in the Navy during WW2- enlisting at age 18 - he went to Sun Valley and lived in a camper in the parking lot. Cool.Ski Shop - Basement of the Hostel
