    He was coming down after face check on the second venue there and banged his knee on a hidden rock so is riding a little bit physically impaired. I suspect it was a conscious decision to post a low-risk, moderate score as opposed to risking more injury or crash and posting a shitty score. Probably wise.

    His technique is far better this year. Much more solid and less back seat. He always skied the crazy lines but it seems his skiing has really grown up.
