Can you imagine what the ratings will be like if both Tiger and Phil are in the mix at Augusta? Last year that would be an absurd suggestion... but seems very possible next month.

We are heading back to the Masters and Tiger ruined the ticket price.
    Like another $500-1,000 per ticket.

    Thank you.
Heading down on Friday, attend Saturday and will see the ticket price on Sunday.
Normally it drops $500-1,000 once the day starts, so might be able to find something for Sunday afternoon.

Tiger Woods nearly broke the internet last week at the Valspar Championship when he produced a club-head speed of 129.2 mph on the 14th hole during Saturday’s third round, the fastest on the PGA Tour this season.
After four back surgeries, including fusion surgery to his lower back in April, Woods has talked extensively about learning his body and new swing. But when asked on Tuesday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational how he was able to produce such speed he had no answer.
“Dude, if I knew I’d tell you,” he smiled.

Woods explained that he used to use a 43-inch steel shaft on his driver and could produce club-head speed of about 126 mph. He now uses a longer, lighter shaft in his driver, which helps produce more speed, but he still doesn’t have an exact answer.
“I went through years where I just couldn’t get speed,” he said. “Now all of a sudden it’s just happening. We think amongst my inner circle that I was living in so much pain I didn’t know it and I was just going through that slide of just protecting, playing around it and I didn’t know why.”
Woods currently ranks second on Tour with a 122.4 mph average club-head speed. In 2013, his last full season on Tour, his average was 118.3 mph, which ranked 28th on Tour.

Phil Mickelson's win drought lasted 1,687 days.

Sunday at Bay Hill will be 1,687 days since Tiger Woods' last victory.

LOL on this comment to that tweet. "Pinheads who keep track of this shit need to be monitored with ankle bracelets."

Glad to see Tiger playing well.

Tiger hitting the ground running. Tied for lead. Leader is a name you likely won't hear come Sunday.

He's won this tournament 8 times. Seems like a logical place to forge his official comeback.

I'm not huge on golf but this Houston Open is dramatic as shit. The kid Hossler, Ian Poulter, heading to a playoff right now. Those 2 putts on 18 were both sick, Poulter's went in. Crazy.

That was some good golf, played until dark. I'm rooting for Pernilla Lindberg from Sweden tomorrow when they start again, she's a former ski racer!! And played strong and gritty all tourney.

bummer. i reached my limit of screen time watching poulter.

Vintage Poulter: Ian on his way to Augusta
    https://www.golfchannel.com/article/...s-way-augusta/

Still fuming from what he perceived as mis-information, Poulter played Thursday like a man who wanted to be anywhere else. When he returned to finish the final hole of his opening round the next morning, he was tied for 123rd among a 144-man field – depths from which no player has returned to win on the PGA Tour in the last 35 years. His bags were even packed in anticipation of a missed cut.

Of all people to pull off such a Herculean comeback, Poulter was probably low on the list of possibilities. Despite being richly talented and maintaining a world-class standing for years, he had won only twice on Tour and had never captured a stroke-play event in the U.S. His last win anywhere came in November 2012 in China.

But that would be exactly what he needed to make the Masters, which in turn was the only reason Poulter showed up in Houston. So facing a seemingly impossible task after being within arm’s length of Magnolia Lane a week ago, he went on an unfathomable tear.

Poulter played his final 60 holes at the Golf Club of Houston in 21 under, making just a single bogey in what he called some of the best golf of his 19-year career.

And it's Masters week. Giddy with anticipation.

    Phil and Tiger.
