I don't have an accurate way to weigh, but a review stated: "BCA used a thicker, more durable fabric for this version, but kept the empty pack weight at less than 3.5 lb." I'd agree with that weight.

Also forgot to add; seperate dry pocket to keep clothes away from skins/tools, comfortable frame and insulated hydration sleeve in shoulder strap.
