WTB DSLR starter kit
Hey - anyone have a good entry-mid level DSLR setup they're ready to part with? My wife has decided to take up a little photography and she's got a birthday coming up. Currently looking at a package based on the Nikon 5200, but figured I'd ask here first... Thanks guys.

Hey!
I've got the setup described below. Put it away when I switched over to a Sony Mirrorless setup. Was planning on putting it on ebay but would love to move it here.
Pretty good introductory setup. Included some links below to give you a sense of what it is...not really sure offhand how to price the package.
Everything worked well when I set it down but if you are interested I will fire it up to make sure. Lenses should also work with a D5200.
A fast prime and mid range zoom with an aperture of 2.8 like I have below are a pretty good starter range.

Best Buy has great entry level deals on either a Canon or Nikon DSLR. I doubt you can even get a fairly current used package for what their kits contain:

I’m a fan of mirrorless. Started learning on Sony A3000. Cheap ($200 average used price) but very powerful and great image quality. Changeable lenses and full manual shooting. Hard to beat in my opinion. Also the A6000 is a great bargain at the moment around ($350-400)

^ Thanks for the advice guys.. I ended up pulling the trigger on a display model a6000 bundle with the 16-50 and 55-210 lenses for $575. Went straight to Beards & Hats, and it still took some digging to find a deal... They've got some kind of fucking racket going... A shoelace costs $1... Stick a tag on it that says "camera strap" and it's $49.95. Fuck that noise.

Looks like the OP went another direction and ended up with a great setup.
@2Clue I would part with it for say 45% of retail or $80 + shipping. Let me know.
