Ski instructor recommendations in the Park City area
Anyone know anyone?
I'm an intermediate skier (on ski blades) and but wanna learn how to actually ski. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good ski instructor in the Park City area? Gonna be there mid-February
I'd even be willing to hire one of you if you're patient (I'd probably get a better lesson that way anyway!)

PM Rontele: he knows his tele and his blades. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Ask for Karl Stall, he only has 5 positions open though.
Todd Pounds is another good one, but only does group lessons.

If you are serious, you have picked the wrong site to post this.
Just go to ski school at resort and they will sort you out.
No need for personal recs.
You are talking basic lessons here, not Olympic coaching.
But, it looks like you are trolling.
You are not even trying that hard.
Let's see:-
Snowlerblades...
ParkCity...
EastCoast...
SkiInstructors...
Intermediate...
Oops, you forgot to ask where they store the moguls.

Where’s the instructor going by the name “Fair Wages”?

Just hang out at any bar in Park City later in the evening and wait. Sooner or later someone will come waltzing by and tell you that s/he is a ski instructor. Without fail.

I would suggest trying to get in with a Heli ski group for the week istead. The guides and other guests have so much knowledge to share, and with an intimate setting like that, I am sure you will make many new friends. Plus, its far more scenic.

Haha thanks everyone. Not trolling - I really can't ski that well and I'm serious about getting better. I've had mixed results with resort lessons and was hoping to get pointed in the right direction (even if it was at yet another resort).
I liked the heli option but that seems beyond my skill level, so I'll look at group classes in the area.

where are you actually located? IE where do you live. No reason to go to Park City for ski lessons.....
Go someplace local and find someone who is truly good be prepared to start from scratch.

New York City, the ski capital of the world haha (obviously turning pro would be an uphill battle). Open to any and all Northeast teacher recs too. Try to venture up to Vermont and Maine when possible
(PS trying to avoid the east vs. west debate in this thread - I just wanna learn how to ski better)
