Well, they are both probably worth trying once, but don’t blame me if you can’t stand them. NA beers are a different breed. Also, bear in mind they are not completely alcohol free. I think Clausthaler is 0.45%, so bear that in mind if you really need to avoid alcohol totally.

Social thing or do you like the taste that much? I mean I guess I've grown to like the taste but the buzz is a big part of why I keep drinking it. And for the health benefit of course.

Yeah, I like the taste of beer, especially with food. Even one beer with dinner seems to mess with my sleep though. I definitely enjoy getting a good buzz on, but I pay for it.

Interesting. Also, there have been a number of studies done that show NA beer makes an excellent post-exercise recovery drink.

Whenever this subject comes up people recommend something called Penns best. I've haven't tried it yet because we don't have the Total Wine stores around here but web says it's like 1/2 the price of the Busch so I'm going to check it out if I ever visit one.

I hear ya. When I was in Germany last summer I had a NA beer that I wouldn't mind as an occasional driver. It was a regional brew and I can't remember what it was. It was tasty. My brother in law is a dry drunk. I guess this somehow helps him, one NA brew once a week on Fridays. Whatever works bro. I definitely drank the real thing when I was out on my own. However, it just doesn't agree with me like it used to when I was a youth.

If you can find it locally, I would give Bitburger N/A a try.

Now that it's hot out, I've found this:

I was at a beer garden and said: Cucumber Beer? What the hell, gimme one!

I'm glad I did...much better that DFH SeaQuench.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

    Those other beers thread

Oh man, Burlington Beer Co, makes so many good beers. This one is so smooth and creamy and the raspberry is perfect. Dated 7/20/18
