Look Pivot Dual forward pressure troubles

Apologies for being too inept to mount my own skis. This problem has me wanting to sell and go back to all Dynafit.

I bought some Look Pivot Duals. I thought i could use them with rockered boots. that was another thread.
    Have din soles now.

I cannot get the forward pressure indicator to set right.
I've tightened the heel to the point where the boot won't rest in the cup.
I've loosened to the point where i can tap the heel and release it.
I'm set in alpine mode on the toe.

Always, the white indicator is 1mm past the notches (towards the tail).
I pull the boot, twist the heel to reset and adjust the screws, then reset it again and engage the boot. Every time. same result.
I never had this problem with P18 or FKS 140.

Mounted using a Jigarex - so surely i got the mount right.
Anyone know of anything new that may be causing this?

Thanks. I seem to recall seeing this thread years ago. Pity I didn't bother with the search function.
