PSA- Snoring Gadget that Actually Works
Socks are important, but not as important as you or your partners' sleep.
My wife got me (her) this thing for my birthday.

It totally works, and it doesn't wake me up.
It is a little pricey, but I feel it is worth it.
No more punches in the middle of the night.
Happy wife, happy life, right?
Now about those socks. Anyone have a line on comfortable socks that are stylish, and stay up all day?Last edited by warthog; 12-09-2017 at 11:15 AM.

How long have you been using this?

I think it depends on the kind of snorer you are. The pillow thing didn't work for me, but this thing totally did.

Took a couple days to find the sweet spot and get my jaw used to it, but for the last 5 months I actually dream again vividly and my wife sleeps through the night.

About 2 months now.
When I don't fall asleep on the sofa, it works great.
You can adjust the sensitivity, and the amount it adjusts your head.
If you tap it twice, it gives you a 30 min. delay so your wife can keep watching tv and you can fall asleep without the pillow moving up and down and keeping you up.
When you set it at low, it is extremely subtle. You barely even notice it.
I was skeptical, but the wife was wearing ear plugs to bed. It was time to try something.
This thing can travel with you too, which is cool.
Glad somebody found the post useful. It has been a posititive change around here. Thought others might benefit.

Their return policy seems pretty good.
I have another friend that has it. His wife's review is what got my wife to buy it.
That's at least 2 real world reviews plus a 30 day return guarantee- seems like it is worth a shot.
I just couldn't get over having to sleep with some contraption in my mouth. I guess I am not ready to admit my age. This thing is a good compromise.

I have used something similar for years (see https://www.snorban.com/buy-now/ ) and it was like magic- went from super loud to no snoring at all. As indicated, takes a few days to get used to it but totally worth it. Different people need different solutions for sure- I tried a bunch of things including this procedure https://med.uth.edu/orl/opal/general...n-snoreplasty/ until I found the Snorban device.

My wife cut down a whole forest last night. Slowly. Over many hours. Of course there's no way to know if I was trying to start the chainsaw for her when i was actually asleep. So there's that.
I see hydraulic turtles.
