These threads come and go but predictably old men post old men music.

The new Code Orange album has been getting a ton of press since it came out. They were on a ton of high profile tours this year and this album has been showing up on a bunch of year-end lists. Rolling Stone even thought to include it, which is pretty impressive for 23 y/o hardcore kids for PGH.

I came across this Oathbreaker this fall, late to the party. Rheia is the name of album but the live performance really hits home how impressive female vocal dynamics are in black metal. They get into the meat of things at 2:53. Totally unreal.
